Nistha · Confidence through inclusion

Where autistic and neurotypical children meet as equals.

Nistha creates events where autistic and neurotypical children take part in the same thing — not as beneficiaries and donors, but as participants.

Nistha is a registered trademark (Class 41, Application No. 3516927), in use since 2015.

The premise

Most inclusion programmes ask autistic children to adapt. Nistha is built on the opposite premise: that both groups have something to unlearn, and the fastest way to unlearn it is to do something together.

Not a beneficiary and a donor. Two participants in the same event.

NISTHA 2015 · The proof

In 2015, at Greater Valley School, Greater Noida.

In 2015, in association with Greater Valley School, Greater Noida, Nistha staged a fashion show and a painting competition and exhibition — performed and created by the school’s autistic students, for an audience of their peers, teachers and parents.

What it demonstrated

The premise, in practice. Autistic students on a stage and on a gallery wall, with their peers, teachers and parents as the audience — an event that belonged to the students who performed and painted, not to the organisers.

It was small, it was real, and it is the reason Nistha exists as a programme rather than as an intention.

Planned · 2027 What’s next

Nistha 2027: an inclusion football match.

A team of autistic children against a team of neurotypical children — played properly, refereed properly, with a crowd.

This event is planned. We will publish the partner school and the date once they are confirmed, and nothing before.

  • Played properly

A real match with two real teams — not a demonstration.

  • Refereed properly

Real rules, applied to both sides equally.

  • With a crowd

Peers, teachers and parents in the stands, watching a match.

Formats we run

Three formats, one premise.

Every format is something both groups do together, in front of an audience.

Run in 2015

Performance

Fashion show, stage. A show rehearsed and walked by the students themselves, for an audience of peers, teachers and parents.

Run in 2015

Creative

Painting, exhibition. A competition, and then the work hung on a wall and looked at the way any exhibition is.

Planned for 2027

Sport

Football, and others. A match played to real rules, with a referee and a crowd — both teams on the same pitch.

Take part

Host a Nistha event at your school, or put your name behind one.

Schools bring the students and the space. Sponsors make the event possible and are invited to attend. Both are credited, and both receive the reporting pack.
