Chaya is the third of our three programme IPs and the one furthest from delivery. We do not yet run a shelter, and we will not claim beneficiaries, sites or outcomes before they exist.
This page describes what we are building towards and how we intend to sequence it. We will update it as each step is actually taken, and our first annual report will say plainly what was done.
Two strands, built one at a time.
Elderly care and animal rescue are two distinct operational tracks. They need different partners, different facilities and different skills, so we will build them sequentially, not simultaneously.
Dignity for the elderly.
Shelter, care and dignity for elderly people, delivered with institutions that already exist rather than by building parallel infrastructure.
Rescue and rehabilitation for animals.
Rescue, rehabilitation, community adoption drives and anti-cruelty awareness, delivered with shelters and clinics as partners.
